Our professional staff, management and technical team, share a long professional history together prior to working at POINTek which we feel is critical to the successful expansion of POINTek.

Tae Rhee: Dr. Rhee is the Founder, CEO and Chief Innovation Officer. Prior to founding POINTek, Dr. Rhee was the Optical Device R&D Team Leader with Samsung Electronics (Korea). He led the team to receive Technology Award of the Year 1998. Dr. Rhee has authored many technical papers in this field and over 60 patents to his credit. He has been involved in organizing many technical conferences as an organizer or served on the organizing committees. Currently, he is a founding member of Asia-Pacific Polymer Fiber Optic Workshop. His specialty is in optical materials, silicon processes, packaging processes and reliability analysis.

Donald Yu: Dr. Yu is the CMO and President-US Operation for Global Planning and Joint Marketing in our US office. He contributes his thirty years of experience in Information Technology and top executive management. Dr. Yu was formerly the CEO & CIO at Hanjin Information System Telecom & Korean Air (Korea), President of Unisys-DSC JV and Technical Director & Chief Engineer positions in other US companies.
He is also currently a visiting scholar and associate director at the University of California - Irvine to conduct research on the current issues in Information Technology with special emphasis on enterprise knowledge portals, networking, data mining, and customer contact center technologies. His specialty is in communication network, network software and system integration.

Young Lee: Mr. Lee is Chief Operating Officer. He has had outstanding previous professional experience in international operations and financial management including Country Manager: GlobalEnglish Asia (Korea), Finance Director: Asiacontent.com Korea (Korea), and General Manager: Hanjin Group (USA and Korea). He has had outstanding career experience with finance, logistics and administration in his previous work assignments as well as being a key management team member for successful investments and a Nasdaq IPO.

William Milewski: Mr. Milewski is Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for global finance and accounting, corporate governance as well as investor relations at POINTek, Inc. He has 20+ years global experience in financial management, operations and audit. Prior to joining POINTek, Inc. he served as CFO and VP Controller for TEC Ltd and Asiacontent.com, Ltd, respectively. During 9 years prior to this Mr. Milewski worked for ABB serving as CFO for ABB (Taiwan) and Vice President - Audit for ABB (Asia Pacific Region). He has extensive experience serving on corporate boards and audit committees. He began his professional career working for Ernst & Young in the United States.

Hyung Lee: Dr. Lee is Chief Technology Officer. He was a founding member of planar optical device research in Samsung Electronics (Korea) where he worked as Principal Engineer/Technical Manager-Planar Optical Packaging in R&D and he initiated the Planar Optical Research Direction for Samsung Electronics. He was the key engineering staff to complete the development of the planar optical device packaging processes. Dr. Lee was jointly awarded the Technology Award of the Year in 1998 from Samsung Electronics. He is an author of many technical publications and an author of 20 registered patents. His specialty is in integrated optical chip fabrication, optical packaging for both active and passive devices, and passive alignment process.
